STUDENTS AT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVESITY ( PAKOKKU )
The greatest numbers of students who can learn at the Technological University (Pakokku) are about 3000.
But at present time , total students attending at TU ( Pakokku )
is about over 1500. The number of male students is 650 and the rest are
female students. And TU ( Pakokku ) provides four main major such as
Civil Engineering , Electronic Engineering , Electrical Power
Engineering and Mechanical Enginerring. Most of the students attending
this university are interested in Mechanical Engineering.
Convocation
Ceremony is held at Technological Univesity every year. Recently ,
Fourth convocation ceremony was held at the convocation hall of
Technological University (Pakokku). Rector, respectful teachers,
honourable guests and all graduated students attended that ceremony.
Firstly, the ceremony was opened formally and Rector gave a speech to
graduated students and then ceremony is held step by step. At last, dam
from all departments gave certificats to all the graduated students.

Department of Civil Engineering |
Role of Civil engineering
Civil engineering is professional engineering discipline
that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the
physical and naturally built environment, including works such as
bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil engineering takes
place on all levels: in the public sector from municipal through to
federal levels, and in the private sector from individual homeowners
through to international companies.
In Technological University ( Pakokku) , civil engineering department provides the following courses such as
Diploma in A.G.T.I ( Association of Government Technical Institute)
B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)
B.E ( Bachelor of Engineering )
ME ( Master of Engieering)Department of Electrical Power Engineering |
Role of Electrical engineering
Electrical engineering, sometimes referred to as electrical and electronic engineering, is a field of engineering that deals with the study and application of electricity, electronic and electromagnetic.
But
in details, electronic engineering deals with the study of small-scale
electronic systems including computers and integrated circuits.
Alternatively, electrical engineers are usually concerned with using
electricity to transmit energy, while electronic engineers are concerned
with using electricity to transmit information.
Courses provided by Electrical engineering department at TU ( Pakokku ) are as follows:
A.G.T.I ( Association of Government Technical Institute)
B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)
B.E ( Bachelor of Engineering )

Department of Mechanical Engineering |
Role of Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical
engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines. And
mechanical engineers are also expected to understand and be able to
apply basic concepts from chemistry, chemical engineering, electrical
engineering , civil engineering , and physics.
Besides
most mechanical engineering programs include several semesters of
calculus, as well as advanced mathematical concepts which may include
differential equations and partial differental equations , linear and
modern algebra and differential geometry among others.
All
in all, work of mechanical engineering can be seen from the bottom of
the oceans to the farthest boundaries of space which man has ever been
able to reach. At TU(Pakokku) , Mechanical Engineering Department is
composed with Mechanical Power Engineering Department and Computer
Numerical Control Department.
What is CNC?
Computer numerical control (CNC) is a computer "controller" that reads GG-code and M-code commands and drives a machine tool,
a powered mechanical device typically used to fabricate components by
the selective removal of material. CNC numerically interpolates the
points along a cutting tool's toolpath and directs the servomechanisms
that translate the data into movement. The operating parameters of the
CNC can be altered via the Master Control Unit (MCU) of the machine.
As courses , Department of Mechanical Engineering of TU ( Pakokku) supports
diploma in A.G.T.I ( Associateship of Goverment Technical Institute)
B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)
B.E ( Bachelor of Engineering)
ME ( Master of Engineering )
But, Mechanical Power Engineering department and CNC department provide only
diploma in A.G.T.I ( Associateship of Goverment Technical Institute)
